IS Tools was founded in 1999 by Johan Barrebo as a systems integration and information technology consultancy.  In 2001, the company began developing its revolutionary application development platform for internal use and launched it as a service for other users in 2003.

Today the IS Tools platform is a mission critical service for more than 50,000 paying customers.  It powers more than 800 applications and supports more than 100 million data records and more than 30,000 custom application forms.

IS Tools is privately owned and based in Stockholm, Sweden.  It has earned a Triple A credit rating, the highest rating awarded by the Soliditet evaluation system.
