Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organisation that provides emergency medical assistance to populations in danger in over 65 countries. MSF assists people affected by crises, war and natural disasters regardless of politics, religion or ethnicity. In one year, MSF sends out an average of 2 000 international field workers, that together with 24 000 national staff, runs our field operations.

Over 85 percent of MSF’s income comes from private donations. The large part of the private income enables us to maintain our independence.
